Hotel Takara,Okinawa, Japan.
It is said that Buddhist monks in the area disapproved the project and warned it was built on sacred land, near a cave where restless spirits resided. However, that didn’t dishearten the creator, who apparently begun construction on the site without any form of plans/blueprints resulting in a mess and labyrinth like system. Slowly but surely, strange happenings began to occur (some supposedly even fatal) and many workers quit, blaming the occurences on ghosts and demons. Finally, in order to prove his hotel wasn’t haunted, the owner decided to live in the hotel until its completion. But, it was never completed. He lasted 3 nights. The project went bankrupt, and the owner ended up in a mental asylum. Some rumours even claim he killed himself shortly after. The hotel was never opened and it remains, untouched on its hill, alone, overlooking the East China Sea and the Pacific, while the jungle slowly swallows it’s remaining structure. Creepy.i love hearing about things like these :O
